Michelle Chaisson is a true Sista keeping it real by sharing innovative interventions with girls of color. Her 14 + years in social services broaden her clinical insight to coordinate prevention programs for school age girls and teen parents. She urges Black professional females to intervene and become mentors . Every other month she coordinates Mentor a Teen Mom month.
She is passionate about working with girls to increase their self-esteem while building and maintaning healthy peer relationships. In addition to creating and rendering services, she assists teachers during in services with understanding problematic behaviors, designing interventions, and engaging difficult parents.
Michelle received her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Mississippi and is currently enrolled in the Master of Counseling Program at Capella University specializing in marriage and family. She is a wife and mother of three children, Jasmine, Ronald, & Gustave.
